My First Blog at Blogger

Well, I joined Ravelry a couple days ago-a Knitting and Crocheting community. Almost everyone is blogging there, so I thought I better get one going too. Actually I have been blogging on My Space page, but I wanted to start one here too. I have only been knitting about 10 days! I have been hanging out at Knittinghelp.com-where I found out about Ravelry-.KH really helped me alot. They have gret videos there which is how I learned. So I really thank them.

I started crocheting 31 years ago but didn't do it consistantly. I have only been consistant the last 3 years, I have made an afghan, several scarfs, several slippers, place mats, purses, hats, and a couple doilies--not the real fine thread kind.

I am looking forward to when I can get faster in my knitting. It seems to go soooo slow. Thats why I have only completed 1 project. But I am working on 3 projects right now, but mostly I'm trying to get the dishcloth done so I can say yay! another project finished!
I will have to use my daughter's digital camera to take a picture of my finished projects, although since some were crocheted for someone else, I'll have to skip those. I just hope I can remember the color yarn etc I used on some of them.
